We are a team of independent licensed insurance agents. Our agents are contracted with insurance companies through Eterna Insurance Solutions, our partner insurance marketing organization (IMO). We help people compare and apply for insurance products offered by insurance companies ("carriers"). The carrier you apply with makes its own decisions and has its own privacy policy, which will also apply to your information once it is sent to them.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us. Depending on how you work with us, this may include:

• Contact details: name, mailing address, email address, phone number, date of birth, and state of residence.
• Form and scheduling details: occupation, the products or topics you are interested in, appointment times, and anything you type into a form or message.
• Coverage and financial details: the coverage you want, existing policies, income range, beneficiaries, and payment or banking details needed to submit an application.
• Health and underwriting details: height, weight, tobacco or nicotine use, medications, medical conditions, treatment history, family health history, and other information a carrier requires to consider your application.
• Identity verification details: government-issued identifiers (such as a Social Security number or driver's license number) when a carrier requires them to process an application.
• Recruiting details: if you ask about joining Castian, your licensing status, work history, and related information.
• Communications: emails, texts, call notes, consent records, and your marketing preferences.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, time on page, and the site that referred you, using cookies, pixels, and similar tools.

Information from others. With your permission, or as allowed by law, carriers and their partners may obtain information such as prescription history, motor vehicle records, medical information bureau (MIB) reports, or other consumer reports as part of underwriting. The carrier will give you its own notices about these reports.

• Prepare and submit applications to carriers and help with your policy afterward.
• Send appointment reminders, follow-ups, and, if you agree, marketing messages.

• Keep records and meet our legal, licensing, and regulatory obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as reasonably needed to serve you, run our business, or follow the law, including with:

• Insurance carriers you choose to apply with, and their underwriting and verification partners.
• Service providers that work on our behalf, such as scheduling tools (for example, Calendly), customer relationship management and communication platforms (for example, GoHighLevel), email, spreadsheet, and productivity tools (for example, Google Workspace), website hosting, and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Our licensed agents and team members who help with your request.
• Regulators, courts, or law enforcement when required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients, or others.
• A successor business if our business is merged, acquired, or transferred, subject to this policy.

Because we are licensed insurance agents, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and applicable state insurance privacy laws limit how we may use and share nonpublic personal information, including health information. We follow those laws.

4. Text Messaging (SMS) Privacy

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use it to send the messages you agreed to, such as appointment reminders, follow-ups, and occasional marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf. Your consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying any product.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, pixels, and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or advertising pixels) to understand how our website is used, measure ads, and improve your experience. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well. Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

• Deletion: ask us to delete information, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements. Information already sent to a carrier is governed by the carrier's policy.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Texts: reply STOP to any text message.
• Calls: ask us to add you to our internal do-not-call list.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it. Information about a minor, such as a child listed as a beneficiary, is collected only from a parent or guardian.
